Blackout Tints - When Only 5% VLT Will Do

Blackout Tint Film - The Good Stuff

The murdered out look is all the rage but getting just the right film for the job can be difficult. There has been some confusion among our customers lately about what is blackout film and, really, that is completely our fault. Although it has been well over a year since we switched, we used to refer to our static cling film for years as blackout. When we realized that this was doing more harm than good because the static film actually had a blue hue to it and only blocked 80% of the light we switched to a true blackout film.

True Blackout Film?

So, what is a true blackout film anyway? Well, for starters, the blackout film we now offer is the same VLT as limo tint window film. In addition, Rtint blackout film is self-adhesive which will allow you to semi-permanently install it on even the craziest of curves.

In the video and photo above you can get a good idea of what Rtint, high-gloss blackout film really looks like. Buying online can be hard precisely because you're rarely sure how an auto accessory is going to look on your car whcih is why we offer the rebate program. As you can see, the proof s in the pudding.
